St. Paul's Supports the Food Bank

The Upper Marlboro Churches Food Bank is a ministry begun in 1982 as a source of help to the needy persons in our community.  We primarily give food and serve in the name of Jesus, not in the name of any one denomination.

The Food Bank distributes food out of St. Mary's of the Assumption Church Parish Hall  in Upper Marlboro,  on the second Saturday of each month, from 7:00-9:00 a.m.

The food is collected from the various churches in Upper Marlboro.  Our representative,  Trudy Smith, then sees that our donations are brought to Trinity Parish Hall so they can be sorted, packed and distributed. Donations are always needed and can be dropped off at St. Paul's any time the building is open.

During the Pandemic St. Paul's is sponsoring food collection at our church, on scheduled Saturdays from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm.  Your contributions and physical help are welcome! Consult the Church calendar for specific dates.
